What I do
- Veterinary doctor and histopathologist. At DigiDxDoc I work on tissue diagnosis and digital pathology โ reading what disease looks like under the microscope.
- Teacher. Two YouTube channels explain biology and veterinary science, including a breed-by-breed series on the health problems each dog breed is prone to: English (@Dr.ShintoAntony) and Malayalam (@DrShinto-KL).
- Pet tools. Free calculators and charts for pet owners, starting with breed feeding charts โ built for Indian homes, foods and climate, and usable anywhere.
How the tools and articles are made
Every number on this site shows its working. Feeding amounts come from published equations โ the National Research Council's Nutrient Requirements of Dogs and Cats (2006) and the WSAVA nutrition guidelines โ and I cross-check them against a second standard such as FEDIAF wherever I can. Each page lists its sources and the date it was last reviewed. The full rules are in the editorial policy.
What I can't do online
I can't examine, diagnose or treat your animal through this website, by email, or in YouTube comments, and nothing here replaces a vet who can see your pet. If your animal is unwell, please take it to a veterinarian in person. In an emergency โ poisoning, heatstroke, a road accident, difficulty breathing โ go to the nearest veterinary hospital straight away. If a person has been bitten or scratched by an animal, they need a doctor the same day. See the disclaimer.
